What we offer

Growth Agenda:
Economic growth is our top priority to achieve national goals. We advocate for a policy focused on rapid growth and comprehensive development, aiming to double Sri Lanka's GDP per capita within a decade and elevate it to upper-middle-income status.

Economic Stability:
We propose making fiscal stability a legal mandate to prevent government-induced economic crises and inflation. This ensures financial responsibility, safeguarding Sri Lanka’s economy and protecting it from future instability through sound governance and strong policies.

Employment & Youth:
We prioritize creating employment through a human-capital-focused industrial strategy. This includes promoting entrepreneurship, especially for youth and women, and developing small and medium enterprises. Our goal is to generate over a million new jobs within the next five years.

Industries of the Future:
We support boosting productivity to connect people, prosperity, and productivity. By integrating Sri Lanka into global supply chains, we will attract investments in manufacturing and services, particularly focusing on high-value industries that meet 21st-century global demand.

Women:
We strongly advocate 33% representation for women in elected offices, aiming to raise it to 50% within ten years. Additionally, we propose financial support for women during pregnancy, empowering women across all levels of society, including political leadership.

National Welfare:
We aim to establish a universal credit-based social safety net to support individuals unable to participate fully in the workforce. This initiative ensures that everyone receives financial assistance when circumstances beyond their control hinder employment opportunities.

Education and Skills:
We prioritize reforming the education system to maximize youth potential. Expanding tertiary education, promoting STEM, and encouraging research in emerging fields like AI are key. We will also enhance vocational training to align with industry demands and future technologies.

Agriculture:
We focus on improving value addition in agriculture to raise farmers' incomes. By promoting agriculture-allied industries and boosting irrigation systems, we aim to enhance productivity, increase arable land, and ensure farmers benefit from the entire value chain.

Fisheries:
As an island nation, Sri Lanka must strengthen its fisheries sector. We will increase the number of fishing harbors and subsidize multi-day vessels to boost productivity, reducing seafood imports while improving the livelihoods of local fishermen through sustainable practices.
